What is Mobile Link?
Generac’s remote monitoring system. A device on your generator sends its status, maintenance schedule and history to your computer, smartphone or tablet, and alerts you the moment something needs attention.
Do I need internet at the generator?
Not necessarily. A 5G cellular device works anywhere with cellular coverage, with no home network at all. Wi-Fi monitoring connects through your home network and needs a dedicated 2.4 GHz network; mesh systems may have connection issues.
Is monitoring included in a service membership?
Yes, on the Platinum Membership: generator monitoring is included for the full three-year term. On another membership, or with no membership, we can add a Mobile Link device on its own.
